The little creature that remembers your meetings
Every meeting, written up and yours to keep.
Record to written notes without the round trip to the cloud. A Mac app with no account, no subscription, and nothing uploaded.
One-time payment. Checkout opens at launch.
It does the remembering. You do the meeting.
It captures itself
Inkling watches the calendars your Mac already has and starts recording the moment a meeting does. No event on the calendar? Hit record and it picks up from there. Either way, you stay in the conversation instead of scrambling to type.

It hears every voice, cleanly
Speech becomes text right on your machine, with the speakers told apart, so the transcript reads like an honest record of who actually said what, not one gray wall of words.

It writes the notes for you
The built-in AI reads the transcript and writes it up in your template while you move on to the next thing. Think of it as a notepad that fills itself in.
As private as you need,
as smart as you want.
The AI works the second you open the app. From there, you decide how far it goes. Every step past the first is optional.

Out-of-the-box AI, built in
A capable model ships inside Inkling and runs on your machine. Nothing to set up, nothing to sign into, nothing to pay every month. Open the app and it just writes.
Keep it fully private with your own local model
Want more horsepower without giving anything up? Point Inkling at your own Ollama and run a heavier model locally. Your meetings still never leave your machine.
Or connect your favorite LLM
Prefer Claude or GPT? Drop in your own key and Inkling uses them directly. That transcript goes to your provider, on your account, only when you choose.
Pay once. Not every month, forever.

Cheapest usable paid tier, billed annually, over two years. Free tiers on the three cloud tools are rate-limited to the point of not being usable for regular meetings. Inkling is a one-time payment, $19 at launch. Figures checked July 2026.
A small app that does the whole job.
Your meetings stay yours
Every recording, transcript, and note is an ordinary file on your Mac. Move them, back them up, or delete the lot whenever you like. No database you cannot open, no vendor holding the keys.
No account, ever
Nothing to sign into, no password to forget. There is no Inkling server holding your meetings, and nothing of yours on our side to lose.
Make your own templates
Notes come out shaped the way you work. Inkling ships with smart defaults to start from, then lets you build your own for the meetings only you run.
Search any transcript
Find the line you half-remember from a meeting three weeks ago, in seconds.
Buy once. Keep
getting better.
One payment gets you the newest Inkling, and there is no version treadmill after that. Here is exactly how updates work.
Updates included
Every 1.x update lands in the app on its own. No upgrade invoices, no re-buying a feature you already paid for.
Always the latest
Every new purchase downloads the current release, so you never start out stuck on an old version.
A fair deal on the next big one
If a major version ever ships, it is optional. Skip it, or pick it up later at an owner's discount. What you have keeps working.
Before you buy.
Will it run on my Mac?
Inkling needs macOS 13 or later, on Apple Silicon or Intel. The built-in AI runs locally, so you can record, transcribe, and take notes with no internet connection and no API key.
Is it really a one-time price?
Yes. One payment of $19 during launch, then $29, and never a subscription. Every 1.x update is included and arrives in the app automatically, so you buy once and keep improving for free.
How many Macs can I use it on?
Your purchase covers the Macs you personally use. There are no seat counts or license servers to manage, because there are no accounts to begin with.
Which meeting apps does it work with?
All of them. Inkling captures the audio playing on your Mac together with your microphone, so Zoom, Teams, Meet, a call on speaker, or a room full of people all work the same way. Nothing joins your call and no bot appears in the meeting.
Where do my meetings go?
Nowhere. Recordings, transcripts, and notes stay in plain files on your Mac. With the built-in AI, Inkling makes no outbound connections while it works. The full story lives on the On Your Mac page.
What if I need to reinstall, or lose the download?
Your receipt is your key. You can re-download Inkling any time from the link on your purchase receipt, on a new machine or years later, with nothing to reactivate.
What if it is not for me?
There is a no-quibble refund window after you buy. If Inkling is not right for you, email us and we will refund it.
Stop renting your meeting notes.
